My life is revolving around food

I've been spending almost the last hour posting pictures from the baby shower on Facebook. I didn't take very many action shots, but they are still fun to look at.

I love crock pots. That may seem like a very random statement at the moment, but you see you have to understand that while I'm sitting here doing homework and distracting myself with Facebook (actually I finished that said homework 2 hours ago, I'm happy to say), my crock pot has been cooking my supper. I am cooking a roast. It has carrots and rosemary and thyme in it, and this delicious smell is wafting into my living room. Making me hungry, despite the fact that I've been snacking on cake this afternoon. You must try Betty Crocker's Butter Yellow Cake. It positively melts in your mouth. I served it with strawberries and whipped cream yesterday, but really you don't have to put a single thing on it. It's so moist, I'm eating it with nothing on it. When I was mixing it up, it was tempting just to eat the batter. Let's not waste time baking it. My friends who were over Friday night helping me prepare for the party were in agreement. I settled by just licking the spoon. :)

P.S. If you checked the link you see that it leads you to the LCL card catalog. Now for a subject heading, I doubt very many people would think to look under "electric cookery." Logical, I realize. But I would never have thought of that. I did what any normal person would do: I looked up "crock pot." Thankfully there was the "see also." Now those are handy.
